About Me

I am a licensed psychologist who has worked in New York City independent schools for 15 years. For 12 years, I worked as the Middle School Counselor at The Spence School, and for two years before that, I worked as the Middle School Psychologist at Convent of the Sacred Heart. During this time I have developed a deep understanding of the joys and challenges of being an adolescent in New York City. In addition to my many years of working in a school setting, I have had the opportunity to work with families as they navigate the adolescent years. Supporting countless parents has broadened my skill set, while my experience raising children in this environment has deepened my empathy.

Before working in New York City, I taught French and Psychology classes at the university level for several years. I additionally spent two years working in Student Affairs at a college in Rhode Island.

I have lived abroad in England and France for over six years and traveled extensively worldwide. I speak fluent French and conversational Spanish in addition to some Icelandic (which is not terribly useful!) I love to travel and meet people from different cultures in New York City and abroad.
